Bernat Santacana i Hervada

Bernat Santacana is a Catalan musician who was born in Barcelona in 1998. From a very young age, he began studying violin with Professor Núria Rotllan and later graduated in Violin Performance at the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMuC). During her career, she also earned a viola degree with Jonathan Brown and completed her Master's in Viola Performance at the Hochschule für Musik Basel under the tutelage of Professor Silvia Simionescu.

Bernat has participated in several young and professional orchestras, but his main musical activity is focused on chamber music. He is a founding member of the Athena Quartet, a group with which he has performed throughout Europe. His skill and ability as a musician have led him to play on the most prestigious stages in Spain, such as the Auditori de Barcelona and the Palau de la Música Catalana, as well as other venues such as the Philarmonie de Paris, the Swiss Chamber Music Festival, the Delta Chamber Music Festival and the Schubertíada de Vilabertran.
