Gil Sisquella Oncins is another founding member of the Atenea Quartet and a prominent Catalan violinist.

 

Gil has performed at numerous chamber music festivals, including the Resonanzen Sils Kulturfest in Switzerland, Musikdorf Ernen in Switzerland, and Schubertíada Vilabertran in Spain. He has also collaborated with other prominent musicians such as Patricia Kopatchinskaja and members of the Camerata Bern on the Salzburger Festspiele project "Dies Irae".

 

Since 2021, Gil has been a regular guest of the Haydn Philharmonie and has performed at festivals such as Bremen Musikfest and Herbstgold Festival in Eisenstadt (Austria), sharing the stage with renowned musicians such as Enrico Onofri, Nicolas Altstaedt, Barnabás Kelemen, Fazil Say and Julian Rachlin.
